I know I’m one of only, like, six people who still watch this, but after tonight’s series finale, I’m gonna miss my weekly affirmation that we nerds kick major butt.

I’m about 100 pages from finishing this book, which starts out interesting enough, then takes a twist about halfway through that makes it quite thrilling. I was wondering whether comparisons to “The Silence of the Lambs” were justified, but plot-wise…yes, they are. The Swedish film version is playing at Fine Arts Theatre, and I’m hoping to catch it this weekend.
Next read: “Shutter Island” by Dennis Lehane, then the sequel to “Dragon Tattoo”: “The Girl Who Played with Fire.”
