Let’s show the staff at Rosetta’s Kitchen some love

I’m hoping at least one person will take me up on this challenge:

This evening (Wednesday, January 16), I witnessed a man announce to the staff at Rosetta’s Kitchen that he wasn’t tipping them because he was charged a 50-cent fee for making a credit card transaction less than $10. My challenge to anyone who might read this while they’re downtown this evening: Please consider stopping by Rosetta’s Kitchen and dropping a dollar or two in the tip jar. Let’s offset this man’s nastiness and show some love to the staff of a locally owned business that gives back to our community in many ways, such as through its Everyone Eats program, which offers a sliding-scale meal to those who might not be able to pay full price.

And kudos to the young lady behind the register this evening; she showed much more grace to the man than I would have.
